The Very Big Gold Rolex Deepsea 136668LB Watch

Rolex teased a groundbreaking release, hinting at defying convention and breaking molds. Expectations soared, despite Rolex’s history of incremental updates and lengthy gaps between entirely new model lines. Rolex promised a memorable day, and indeed it was, albeit perhaps not entirely for the right reasons. In 2024, fake Rolex unveiled a solid gold dive watch boasting a depth rating of 3900m. Never mind the impracticality of wearing a watch at such depths without being crushed – this watch screams status, plain and simple. Enter the new Rolex Deepsea 136668LB: big, brash, and we couldn’t wait to get our hands on it.

As noted in our coverage, the concept of a 322g, solid 18k Deepsea paired with a matching gold bracelet contradicts much of Rolex’s previous ethos. Previous releases, while sometimes extravagant with rainbow gems or ornate dials, retained an element of sensible taste. But what sense or taste is there in a 44mm-wide, 17.7mm-thick gold watch? Wearing it feels akin to strapping a shiny cinderblock to your wrist – albeit a cinderblock lined with plush velvet. The bright blue ceramic Cerachrom bezel gleams almost as brightly as the gold case. Together, the gold and blue dominate, diverting attention from the time or any yacht you may not be diving from.

A solid gold watch is one thing; Rolex has previously offered larger gold watches with the supremely comfortable Oysterflex rubber strap. No such option here; the bracelet, while comfortable, adds considerable weight. However, it does provide a sense of balance around the wrist, alleviating the top-heavy feeling often associated with gold watches on rubber or leather straps. One highlight is the Oysterlock clasp with the Glidelock toolless adjustment mechanism, precise and easy to use, adding a mechanical flair to the watch.

The dial is unmistakably blue, complementing the ceramic blue bezel and contrasting vividly with the yellow-gold case. The gold text and surrounds add warmth against the electric blue backdrop, ensuring excellent legibility. Notably, the Sea-Dweller moniker has been dropped from the name, decluttering the dial. The Ringlock compression ring system, now made of color-matched Cerachrom ceramic, contributes to a more cohesive aesthetic. Despite these updates, the dial retains typical Deepsea elements, including gold Mercedes hands and a cyclopsless date window – a detail still contentious among enthusiasts.

The caseback is crafted from RLX titanium rather than gold. While Rolex hasn’t provided an explanation, it likely serves a functional purpose, potentially enhancing durability at extreme depths. The Rolex Calibre 3235 powering the watch is impeccable, boasting 70 hours of power reserve at 28,800 vph. Equipped with a Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, and a Chronergy escapement, the movement is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, rated to -2/+2 seconds per day.

Perhaps to offset the discontinuation of the Yacht-Master II, replica Rolex introduced this ostentatious watch. While the Yacht-Master II signaled an affinity for luxury without owning a boat, the Deepsea 136668LB amplifies that sentiment to new heights. It may, however, have ventured into overkill territory.

Revamping Our replica Watch Collections with a Fresh Start

watches for sale

Fratello On Air returns with an electrifying new episode, delving into the enticing concept of rebooting our watch collections. Picture this: starting afresh with the entire sum we’ve ever splurged on watches, coupled with the wisdom gleaned over the past decade. Get ready for a captivating ride!
Our esteemed listener, Goldenyears, sparked this discussion with a thought-provoking comment on our previous podcast, pondering the replica watches he would possess if granted a clean slate. With all the accumulated funds from past acquisitions, including both modest and extravagant timepieces, the potential for transformation is boundless. We owe our gratitude to Goldenyears for igniting this imaginative journey into an alternate horological reality.
Prior to delving into the notion of resetting our collections, we engage in a brief prelude, reflecting on recent escapades in Germany and sharing anecdotes, both delightful and exasperating. From navigating the infamous Frankfurt Airport to exploring the allure of the new Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8, our banter sets the stage for the main event. Amidst discussions, we touch upon noteworthy timepieces adorning our wrists, such as Mike’s loaner, the exquisite Ming 29.01 Dubai Edition, and Balazs’ understated yet elegant OG Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical. Notably, we couldn’t resist commenting on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s recent encounter with German customs, adding a touch of intrigue to our dialogue.
As we transition to the crux of our discussion – starting anew with our watch collections – we establish some ground rules. Armed with the entirety of our past expenditures and a wealth of horological knowledge, we chart divergent paths toward curating our dream collections. Balazs advocates for a curated selection of key pieces, favoring quality over quantity. Conversely, Mike foresees himself tumbling down the rabbit hole of horological fascination, envisaging a collection brimming with diverse timepieces. However, amidst our musings, we acknowledge the challenges of embarking on such a venture in today’s market, particularly the scarcity of vintage gems. Our contemplation resembles a reverie of hitting the jackpot, where the possibilities are endless, and fantasies abound.
In reflection, many of us, seasoned collectors or those burdened with remorse over past acquisitions, yearn for a chance to hit the reset button. For individuals like myself, whose watch-buying journey spans decades predating the digital era, the allure of starting afresh is palpable. As we gradually bestow our cherished timepieces upon younger generations, driven by both sentimental attachment and a hint of indolence towards selling, the prospect of a swift reset grows increasingly appealing. Indeed, our tastes evolve over time, and the desire for reinvention is a sentiment shared by many.
The prospect of revamping our fake watch collections offers a tantalizing glimpse into what could be, fueled by nostalgia, foresight, and an insatiable passion for horology. Thank you for tuning in, and we eagerly anticipate your feedback and suggestions for future episodes. Until next time, may your horological pursuits be filled with excitement and discovery.

A Curated Selection of Exceptional replica Watches for Gift-Giving, Ranging from $200 to $50,000

In my musings within the Bloomberg Pursuits newsletter, I often find joy in showcasing unconventional gifts. However, when it comes to watches, a different approach is needed. A watch is not merely an accessory; it’s a daily companion, a piece of jewelry that should seamlessly blend with various occasions and styles. Choosing the right watch as a gift requires careful consideration to ensure it resonates with the recipient’s taste and lifestyle.

For a gift as personal as a watch, classic choices tend to be the safest. It’s a piece that demands versatility, aligning effortlessly with diverse outfits and situations. Opting for a timeless design ensures that the recipient will appreciate it for years to come. While selecting these gift recommendations, I consulted with industry experts, including Rudy Albers, the president of Wempe USA, David Hurley, the deputy CEO of replica Watches of Switzerland, and James Lamdin, founder of Analog/Shift (now owned by WoS).

Understanding the recipient’s preferences is crucial when choosing a watch as a gift. Experts like Albers suggest considering the individual’s style, whether they lean towards extroverted or introverted choices. Exploring their interests, from fashion to hobbies, can guide the selection process. Additionally, the option to engrave a watch adds a thoughtful touch, with brands like Tudor and Rolex standing out for maintaining clear casebacks, allowing for meaningful personalization.

For those venturing into the realm of clone watch gifts, especially for a teenager’s first timepiece, iconic choices like the TAG Heuer Carrera, Omega Speedmaster, or Seamaster collections are recommended. These timeless pieces, along with the Breitling Navitimer, offer lasting appeal and serve as a memorable introduction to quality timepieces.

Key Indicators of How to Spot a Fake Rolex Watch

Rolex watches are renowned for their exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and iconic designs. Unfortunately, the popularity of Rolex has also led to the proliferation of counterfeit watches in the market. As an aspiring Rolex owner, knowing how to spot a fake Rolex is crucial to protecting yourself from purchasing a counterfeit timepiece. In this blog post, we will discuss key indicators that can help you identify a genuine Rolex replica watch from a fake one.
Before purchasing a Rolex, educate yourself about the specific model you’re interested in. Visit Rolex’s official website or authorized dealers to study the watch’s design, features, and specifications. This knowledge will enable you to spot inconsistencies when examining a potential fake.
Rolex watches are crafted with high-quality materials, resulting in a substantial weight and solid feel. Counterfeit watches often use cheaper materials, resulting in lighter and flimsier watches. Pay attention to the weight; a genuine Rolex should feel robust and substantial on your wrist.
Many Rolex watches feature a date window with a magnifying Cyclops lens. The date on a genuine Rolex will be magnified 2.5 times with a clear and even font. Counterfeit watches may have a smaller magnification or an uneven font that is difficult to read. Inspect the Cyclops lens carefully for any imperfections.
In authentic Rolex watches, the Cyclops lens aligns perfectly with the date window, magnifying the date in the center. In counterfeit replica watches, the alignment may be slightly off, with the magnification not centered on the date. Pay close attention to this detail, as it can be a significant indicator of a replica rolex.
Rolex pays great attention to detail in their logo and crown. Check the Rolex crown logo on the dial and the crown on the side of the watch. The logo should be precisely crafted, with fine details and sharp edges. By following these guidelines, you can confidently identify and avoid counterfeit Rolex fake watches, ensuring that your investment is in an authentic, high-quality timepiece that will provide you with a lifetime of horological enjoyment.

Black Velour Rubber Strap for Rolex Datejust with Awesome Style and Versatility

The Rolex Datejust is a timepiece known for its timeless elegance and versatility. While the original metal bracelet exudes sophistication, many watch enthusiasts seek to personalize their Rolex by exploring different strap options. One such alternative that has gained popularity is the black velour rubber watch strap.
The black velour rubber watch strap offers an unbeatable combination of comfort and durability. Made from high-quality vulcanized rubber, it provides a soft and supple feel on the wrist, making it a pleasure to wear throughout the day. Unlike traditional metal bracelets, the velour rubber strap is lightweight, making it ideal for those seeking a more relaxed and comfortable fit. Additionally, rubber is highly resistant to water, sweat, and UV rays, ensuring longevity and ease of maintenance.
By replacing the metal bracelet with a black velour rubber strap, the replica Rolex Datejust takes on a sportier and more contemporary appearance. The black color adds a touch of modernity and versatility, allowing the watch to transition seamlessly from formal occasions to more casual settings. Whether paired with a suit or worn with jeans and a t-shirt, the black velour rubber strap adds a stylish edge to the classic aesthetics of the Datejust, giving it a unique personality.
One of the key advantages of the black velour rubber strap is its flexibility and adaptability. Thanks to its various sizing holes and a reliable tang buckle or deployment clasp, the strap can easily be adjusted to achieve a perfect fit. This ensures that the watch remains securely on the wrist while providing a comfortable and personalized wearing experience.
The black velour rubber replica watch strap offers a winning combination of comfort, durability, and style for the Rolex Datejust. It presents an opportunity to infuse a touch of modernity and versatility into the iconic timepiece, allowing you to express your personal style while retaining the watch’s inherent elegance. With its sporty aesthetics, adaptability, and suitability for active lifestyles, the black velour rubber strap opens up a world of possibilities for Datejust enthusiasts, providing a fresh and contemporary twist to this timeless classic.

Difference between a Rolex women’s watch and a Rolex men’s watch

When it comes to luxury watches, Rolex is a brand known for its exceptional quality, craftsmanship and style. Rolex offers various watches for men and women, but the two have some differences. In this article, we’ll explore the differences between women’s Rolexes and men’s Rolexes.
The most obvious difference between men’s and women’s Rolex watches is the size and proportions. Men’s Rolex watches are usually larger and more robust, with case sizes ranging from 36mm to 44mm. On the other hand, women’s Rolex watches are usually smaller, with case sizes ranging from 26mm to 36mm. This difference in size and proportion is not only based on gender but also on personal preference.
There are also differences in the design of male and female Rolex watches. Men’s Rolex watches have a more masculine and sporty design with features such as chronographs, tachymeters and large numerals. On the other hand, Rolex watches for women are more elegant and feminine, featuring smaller, more refined features such as diamonds, mother-of-pearl dials and smaller numerals. However, some designs, such as the Rolex Datejust and Rolex Submariner, are considered unisex and popular among men and women.
Rolex watches for men and women also differ in the materials used. Men’s Rolex watches typically use materials such as stainless steel, yellow gold and platinum, while women’s Rolex watches typically use more luxurious materials such as rose gold and diamonds. However, this is not a hard and fast rule and there are many imitation Rolex watches for men and women that use a variety of materials.
Another difference between men’s and women’s Rolex watches is the style of the bracelet. Men’s Rolex watch bracelets are usually made of stainless steel or gold, while women’s are usually made of more delicate materials such as leather, satin or gold mesh. However, men’s and women’s Rolex watches can also come with various aftermarket bracelets and straps to customize the look and feel of the watch.
While there are some differences between men’s and women’s Rolex watches, such as size, design, material and bracelet style, many are unisex and can be enjoyed by both men and women. Choosing a copy Rolex watch depends on personal preference and style, whether you are a man or a woman.

2023 Perfect Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 6119

What has been the biggest news of the year in Patek Philippe? For many, discontinuing the Nautilus 5711 will be the biggest highlight. The confirmation of the rumors in January shocked many and people went crazy over releasing the olive green dial variant known as the “last 5711”.
Here comes Patek Philippe, ignoring 101 Economics, with a new pair of time-only models containing a new hand-wound movement.
As you can see in the pictures, the exterior design is completely different. You can check out our April introductory article to learn more about the differences between the two movements.
My guess is that they intend to use this new movement as the basis for various complications, as high-torque movements are necessary for replica watches with heavy-handed or power-consuming complications.
In addition to the specification update, this new larger movement brings another major change to Calatrava: it is no longer a “cross-eye” like Ref. 5196. 5196. Cal. 215 PS drives the 5196 in its 37mm case, which is a bit large for the size of the movement. Because of this, the small seconds subdial is closer to the center of the dial.
It is worth noting that the 6119 is also equipped with a display caseback. This is not new to the collection, but it was standard practice for the hand-wound Calatrava to hide the movement behind a closed caseback. Why did they choose to use a see-through case back this time?
The most distinctive feature on the exterior of this copy watch is the Clous de Paris (hobnail motif) on the bezel. The now-discontinued Ref. 2006 5119 had the same bezel design, and the 6119 was framed as the successor to that model.
The manufacturer itself said in a press release, “Patek Philippe has thus returned to the roots of the Calatrava design vocabulary ……”. Now, the 6119 is not a simple tribute to the past. The toffee-gold hands are reminiscent of the ’96 model, but it adds dimension, with three facets per hand instead of two, and the railroad track minute scale ensures readability. The combination of a thin, winged seconds hand and a sharp subdial divided into quarters is also highly readable.
Finally, let’s talk about my impressions of the wrist. Thanks to the larger movement, the case size has increased to 39 mm, but the total height from the top of the crystal to the bottom of the case back is only 8.08 mm. To be honest, I never felt I could quite relate to the Calatrava line because of its strictly formal nature. I think the 6119 has a refreshing new look that is more versatile.

The perfect Rolex Jubilee Bracelet

Although when we hear Rolex we associate it with watches, the watchmaker indeed pays attention not only to the details of its time machine but also to components as important as the watch itself, by which we mean the bracelet, which can transform not only the beauty of the watch itself but also the comfort and security with which we wear it.
As iconic and popular as the Oyster bracelet is the Jubilee bracelet, which dates from 1945 and was developed exclusively for the Oyster Constant Datejust model, although today, we can find it available for other models in the Oyster collection.
It is a metal bracelet composed of five lines that create a smooth and elegant silhouette and aesthetic, equipped with a hidden crown clasp that provides a closure invisible to the naked eye, which is why watch experts describe this bracelet as elegant and noble. Comfort.
As we have already mentioned, this bracelet debuted in 1945, no more and no less, to celebrate the brand’s first 40 years, accompanied by Datejust, considered by the brand until today as the perfect combination for the Jubilee year.
The bracelet has been improved since then, with the birth of solid gold as the material chosen for its forging, which has evolved over the years and acquired two shades over time, as well as a steel variant.  Rolex Jubilee Bracelet
What few people know is that just as watches – their mechanics – undergo rigorous testing, so do straps, and in the case of the replica Rolex Jubilee, there is a timeless genius in the fact that 75 years after its birth, its design has remained virtually unchanged. Described by some as a bridge between the sporty Oyster bracelet and the classic and elegant President, the Jubilee achieves the best of both worlds, giving this total piece versatility and, unlike the other two, a piece with more “light”.
The current design of this bracelet is composed of five semicircular metal links, featuring two rows of larger links on the outer edge of the bracelet and three smaller links in the center. While many bracelets have a central point to balance them, Jubilee’s design is fluid, creating the illusion of a ring around the wrist thanks to its hidden crown clasp that gives an invisible closure effect.
For Rolex owners, it is important to clean their bracelets regularly to keep debris and dirt out. Over time, dirt builds up between the links and acts as an abrasive, so the links stretch.

Inventories of Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet plummet

In the iconic 1987 thriller “Wall Street,” Lord of the Universe Gordon Gekko tasked his devotees with unearthing the smallest nuggets of corporate information that might foretell future stock market price movements.
More recently, as replica watches on the waiting lists of Rolex, Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe have been traded like stocks, a new legion of speculators is similarly reading the runes for clues to market direction.
We can all see the “exhibition only” signs in jewellers’ windows, which does not mean that these watches are completely unavailable, only that they are being channelled directly from the safes of authorized dealers into the hands of their most loyal, most consuming customers.
Suppose we know that waiting lists are getting shorter and fake watches are being delivered months rather than years after deposits are paid. In that case, this is a sure indication that supply is improving, which should put downward pressure on demand and prices in the secondary market, as there is no incentive to pay significant premiums on the secondary market when the waiting list may only be a few months.
Subdial gathers information from major secondary market sites, Chrono24, Watchfinder, Mrwatchmaster and others, to track prices and inventory, tracking the most traded watches with its extremely useful Subdial 50.  imitation rolex
In a previous column, I shared charts showing how prices for some of the hottest watches spiked between last summer and this spring and then fell dramatically over the past few months.
Why? Because after supply on the pre-owned market spiked in March, major watches, particularly discontinued models from the replica Rolex Oyster Perpetual, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and Patek Philippe Nautilus collections, have fallen sharply.
This chart shows a sharp rise in supply as speculators sensed or engineered a market top in March and cashed out at the moment of maximum profit.
Another way to look at it is that people may have withdrawn their watches, hoping that another opportunity would present itself because they missed the peak. Royal Oak availability doubled year-over-year, while Nautilus and Oyster Perpetual inventories increased by 54% and 34%, respectively.
Those clone watches still in production, even those with long waiting lists at authorized dealers, also saw an increase in inventory on the secondary market, but at a much lower percentage, reflected in more modest price increases and decreases.
